Hey Synergii Community!

Once again thanks so much for joining us as we continue to update the Synergii app based on your feedback during this pilot phase. We just released version 1.2 of the app, which has the following improvements requested by users like you in the community.

Funders:

• "Funds of Funds" were added as a "Type of Funding" option for funding opportunities.
• (TLDR: We'll create better matches for you so you have to type less.) - Some funders found "Tags" confusing to understand, so we removed this from the UI and populating tags based on our matching algorithm on the backend.
• "Continue Where You Left Off" wasn't easy to understand for funders, so we softened the language so that funders can pick up where they left off when they are in the process of creating a funding opportunity that they want to advertise to founders.
• (TLDR: We removed "Funding Support" on opportunities because it was confusing.) - "Funding Support" is reserved for instances were a funder is offering support to founders, but it's not in the form of money.
• Now you'll only see one business for founders and the business will display under "Entrepreneurs" in the "People" tab.
• If there's a cohort of founders in a program or school, you can filter and find them on the "Entrepreneurs" tab under "People."

Founders:

• Add your school if you're a student.
• Add or select a program or cohort you're associated with under "Founder's Organizations" on your profile or when you set up your account.
• You don't have to "Set Primary" if you have only one business. We do it for you.
• Now funders will only see your main business. If you have other business ideas you want to store or incubate, you'll see that on your profile (but only you'll see it).
• Your primary business will appear in the "Entrepreneur" tab now under "People."

That's all for now, but we've got a bunch more things in the works and we're making great progress! Please keep sending thoughts and feedback, as we're happy to continue to make Synergii a valuable place for founders, funders and service providers.
